“A Heart Cry for Divine Justice”

Have you ever been unjustly accused or charged with a crime? You most likely felt a little like King David must have felt when a host of enemies surrounded his life and throne. Injustice is something we all have to deal with and in fact if we call ourselves believers we will have more than our fair share of conflict. Where is God in all of this! What did King David cry out to the Lord for when facing trials and unfounded accusations on his life and character? David's heart cry included four appeals to God: 1.) Save Me! (7:1, 2); 2.) Search Me! (7:3-5); 3.) Support Me! (7:6-9) and 4.) Shield Me! (7:10-17) Where and to whom will you go and what will you do when falsely and unjustly accused? Listen for Life!

Abraham’s (My) Righteousness – Part Two

There is much misunderstanding and outright false teaching today on what true salvation is. The Apostle Paul teaches, in his letter to the church at Rome, three indisputable truths regarding our self-righteousness: 1.) Our righteousness does not come from our works, (Romans 4:1-8) 2.) Our righteousness does not come from ceremonial religion (Romans 4:8-12) and 3.) Our righteousness does not come from the LAW. (Romans 8:13-17). Listen for LIFE!

Can Believers Lose Their Salvation?

There are a variety of Christian groups today who believe that salvation may be lost after it had been bestowed upon believers; this is most commonly a conclusion derived from improper hermeneutics and a poor understanding of the Holy Bible. This message addresses the argument of losing one’s salvation and deeply probes and tears down the more commonly used passages to “support” loss of salvation. It concludes that it is impossible to lose one’s salvation once it has been granted from God.

Abraham’s Righteousness – Part One

So much controversy over the subject of salvation and whether or not we need it or not. Isn't it pretty evident that we are in trouble? That society and mankind in general is morally bankrupt and depraved? What hope do we have apart from Christ alone, Faith alone, Grace alone, from the Scriptures alone for the Glory of God alone? In this section of Romans Pastor Pete opens chapter four with the first of four parts on the person of Abraham, revered and adored by Jews and Gentiles alike. From the life of Abraham, saved by faith, we learn: 1. The Man, 2. The Heart, 3. The Scripture, 4. The Choice, and 5. The Way, the Truth and the LIFE! (Romans 4:1-8) Listen for LIFE!
